America’s favorite dysfunctional family. This show is perfect for those who love drama but are not sensitive to nudity, profanity, or violence. I find this show to be funny and relatable in strange ways.
- Ray Donovan
An excellent action filled show with a very active story line. The actors fit the roles perfectly, I never found myself bored watching this.
- The OA
A good mystery, sci-fi, and drama series. A young woman is missing for 7 years then suddenly reappears stirring things up in her home town.
- Stranger Things
Another mystery and sci-fi series that you will really enjoy. The plot is set in the year 1983 when a young boy goes missing. If you never liked sci-fi shows, you will after you watch this.
This series is perfect for the crime and the drama lovers. It is about a wealthy nightclub owner who is living two lives. Of course, it all catches up to him leading to more crime, more drama, and obviously more binge watching for you.
A new series to Netflix that follows the lives of your typical American family, but they have a secret that eventually grows out of their control. This is a good crime drama for after the kids are in bed. My husband and I loved this one.
- Silicon Valley
A good comedy to switch things up a bit. This series is based out of the California Tech Town Silicon Valley. It’s a fictional show with a group of young men trying to start up their own company. This will give you a good laugh when you need to wind down so crack open a beer and get comfy.
- Bates Motel
I know most people have seen this, but for those of you who haven’t this thriller is a perfect series to watch during the upcoming Halloween season. In brief, this is a prequel to the 1960s movie “Psycho”. This is one of my favorites and I know I will be watching it again eventually.
I hope my suggestions will help you choose what’s next on your list. Parents: Keep in mind most of these are not kid friendly. You can find more information regarding their plots online but be careful not to read any spoilers!
